Making of Dark Angel

Hello, I’m here again showing one of my works, unfortunately I could not do it more detailed, because the psd original was lost along with my HD, and the backup does not read cd.
Luckily I managed to recover some pictures that I believe is the enough to show in a simplified manner as it was done.
Thank you all and hope you enjoy.

STEP 1

On a white background, I traced the outline with simple round brush.

STEP 2

With a broad brush, I painted basic colors that will be used, starting with the background color of the face.

STEP 3

Now, do the boundaries of light and shadows.

STEP 4

Here still modeling their shapes and highlighting the face, exchanging between colors and more soothing, noting that the step 3 onwards.I’m using brush with “pen pressure”.

STEP 5

In this step, do the same thing I did with the face painting color background clothing, note that this step is not necessary to use pen pressure.

STEP 6

Here I start to paint the eyes and mouth, along with the colors light clothing.

STEP 7

Now pay attention to details of the face, showing the expression

STEP 8

Now has refined the details of the mesh in the clothes.

STEP 9

I believed this step was completed, but felt they lacked something, was not exactly as I imagined.

STEP 10

After exchanging a few words with the model of painting, I realized that could leave it darker and so do justice to the title. Just set the “Levels” to have this result.

Thanks
