What I would like to do is to pick the animals and their characteristics that more fascinate me. During a recent travel I have taken a photo at the Bird Park of Kuala Lumpur. Immediately I’ve been captured by the expression of this parrot.

On this Claire model i use 3DS Max, Mudbox with some sculpting and Mentay Ray as renderer. Finally Photoshop to composite it. In doing Claire, I try to apply knowledge that i learnt during my work into it.
The idea in to create this image and is conditioned from a video of bjork in which there was rather a Two similar Robots. Ok I will now explain you’ shortly as I have proceeded in the construction of such image.
This image was created for a personal project to brush up on my high-end skills, having only been working on lower poly game art for the past few years. The mesh is approximately 1.5 million polygons and Brazil r/s was used to render out the model.
The action will take place in the past. Caius could look like a Roman but it is not really one (his sword and his armour do not fit with the style). This character is the first of three main characters of a wedding which will gather: Caius – mother nature – a child.
This making of is about planning a scene, modeling and managing the scene. You will probably be surprised but the most important steps for this particular scene were the Planning and the Managing.
The scene from my imagination is based on objects that i own or could have owned. While the project was in my subconsciousness all of the time, your eyes wonder around and are looking for objects that would work in the scene.
